After playing two Donna Cup tournaments in Pordenone, Termentini is debutting with the U17 Italian National Team.
She has already taken part to stages with youth National selections, together with Anna Giorni who also played the Donna Cup with Pordenone in 2022, but now she is ready for her first official matches for the Azzurri.
Termentini played the tournament both in 2021 and 2022 as captain of the hosting city Pordenone, team with which she won the Under 19 National Championship shortly after the last Donna Cup edition. The Scudetto has been achieved also thanks to her goals in the quarter and semi finals. She is now a Juventus athlete, club faced at the Donna Cup final in 2021.
Three former Donna Cup players with the National Team
Giorgia is now playing on loan for Hellas Verona, but we are sure that all the best international stages are just waiting for her considering that she is just 16 years old. At the U17 National Team, she is going to meet the Juventus players Micol Casella and Simona Davico, both also Donna Cup players in 2021.
Also Switzerland has called up three Donna Cup players
It’s not just about the Italian National team, because also Melissa Rondalli, Paulina Stanic and Alyssa Keller have recently debutted for the Swiss youth National teams. We even awarded Keller in Pordenone as best player at the last Donna Cup. Very well done everybody, we’ll keep following your journey and hopefully see you soon in Pordenone as special guests.
